Through Business Expansion

Multinational business owners and managers are the elite, as far as U.S. immigration laws are concerned. Therefore, they are classified as a high priority when it comes to the United States for permanent residence. Their case is not subject to labor certification, glide through the Green Card process is quite an effort, because they meet the minimum requirements: At least 1 year of employment as an executive (or a professional manager), a company that has an affiliate, subsidiary or parent, in either the United States, or foreign country.

Although this process is very clear and direct in the case of the ownership arrangement between the companies on both sides of the ocean (or, on both sides of the border, in the case, if the Canadian and Mexican officials), it is much less obvious when there is a foreign company (or companies) and not the American people.
